Cara, a native Texan and graduate of Lamar University, serves as the Director of Operations for the Texas Nationalist Movement (TNM). With a deep-seated passion for Texas and its independence, she has been instrumental in shaping the operational framework of the TNM since its inception.
In her role, Cara oversees all operational aspects of the organization, including administrative services, IT, protective services, legal, and finance. She ensures that the organization’s operations are efficient and effective, and that they support the TNM’s strategic goals. Cara works closely with the directors of each operational department to coordinate efforts and ensure alignment, thereby facilitating the smooth running of the organization’s day-to-day operations.
Before joining the TNM, Cara had a successful career as a Registered Radiography and MRI Technologist. She chose to put this career on hold to focus on her family and to co-found Radio Free Texas, one of the first online outlets for independent music created in Texas. Her innovative work in the digital music space has earned her recognition as an expert in the field.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Cara has a strong commitment to community service. She has volunteered for the Children’s Miracle Network for over a decade, contributing her time and skills to support their mission.
